The Guianas
Guyana or Guyanese is a collective term for the following areas:
- The State of Guyana ( formerly British Guiana )
- The State of Suriname (formerly Dutch Guiana)
- The Overseas Territory French Guiana ( Guyane française )
Due to the colonization by non- Iberian countries they differ strongly culturally from the rest of South America.
