The Indelicates

The Indelicates are a British indie band, the music moves between folk, punk and noise rock and is primarily known for their cynical lyrics.

The band was founded in 2005 by songwriter and former comedian Simon Clayton and the singer and pianist Julia Clark Lowe, a former member of the Pipettes. The two form the center of the band and operate on their publications as Julia and Simon Indelicate. They use the band to present their activities as soloist. Meanwhile, around them, however, a stable line -up has evolved. The band has released in the UK and Germany several singles and EPs.
