The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage

The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage ( TICCIH ) is an international conservation organization, specifically with the promotion, preservation, research and documentation of all types focuses on important industrial monuments. The organization, founded in 1973, since 2000, the official consultant of UNESCO in the selection of world heritage sites in this area. Seat of TICCIH is Truro in the UK.

President of TICCIH since 2009, professor of industrial archeology Patrick Martin from Michigan Technological University. Organizationally, the TICCIH is divided into thematic fields: agriculture and food production, bridges, communications, water power and electro chemical industry, metallurgy, mining and mines, mints, paper industry, polar region, railways, textile industry and water. She is represented in around 40 countries with representatives.
