The Jewish Quarterly Review

The Jewish Quarterly is a quarterly international magazine published since 1889. Ed is the journal of the Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

The magazine in 1889 in London by Israel Abrahams and Claude G. Montefiore was founded on the model of the German "Journal of Science of Judaism ," which had its roots in the inner-Jewish reform movement of the 19th century. "The Jewish Quarterly" is the oldest magazine of Jewish Studies in English.

The magazine deals with Jewish literature, politics and culture. The magazine annually awards the Wingate Literary Prize.
