The Jezabels

The Jezabels are a four-piece Australian rock band from Sydney.

Band History

The four members of the Jezabels met at the University of Sydney know and joined in 2007 as a band together. Their first releases were EPs who have already brought in much attention to them, among other things, she won two awards at the Independent Music Awards. The Canadians Tegan and Sara, they hired in 2010 as the opening act for the tour of Australia. With Dark Storm from their third EP, they were able to place first in the Australian charts, and even if the song was ranked only 40, it was eventually certified gold. The following year, then released her debut album, Prisoner, which debuted in October at No. 2 on the album charts. It won an ARIA Award of the Australian music industry as the best independent album in seven other categories they were nominated.
