The Last of the Mohicans, from 1932 directed by Ford Beebe and B. Reeves Eason was the second adaptation of the novel The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper.

Action

Nathaniel Bumppo ( Nat ), also known as Hawk -Eye, is a Ranger in the American wilderness in the 18th century. Together with his Indian friends, Chingachgook and his son Uncas, he is fighting on the side of the British against the French and their allies, the Hurons under their leader Magua.

Comments

This consists of twelve parts Serial was published in 2005 in the U.S. on DVD. Nelson McDowell played the role of David Gamut already in Maurice Tourneur's silent film version of 1920.
