The Legend of Prince Valiant is an American animated television series based on the comic book series " Prince Valiant " by Hal Foster.
Action
As in the comic book series begins with the fall of the fictional Kingdom of Thule, whose heir is Prince Valiant. Valiant, his parents and a group of survivors from the lock will be banned by the ruthless conqueror Cynan in a live hostile swamp. The prince, deeply saddened by the defeat and seeks to take revenge on Cynan, assumes the right to make the most of his new life. In a series of dreams about a kingdom called Camelot, King Arthur, Merlin and the Knights of the Round Table matures in him the desire for a big new job in his life. Valiant is enthusiastic about the principle of the New Order, which is represented in Camelot. It is based on the idea that power can not be equated with law and that truth, justice, honor, and friendship should be the principles for dealing with other people. Against the wishes of his father, Valiant leaves the settlement of exiles in search of Camelot so that he could serve there King Arthur as a knight of the Round Table.
During his quest he encounters two peasants who also fall for the charms of his dream of Camelot. First, he meets Arn who goes about and ashamed for his stand, his poor education and his clumsiness. Later he meets Rowanne, the daughter of a blacksmith, which is ballsy, unorthodox and very skilled with the bow and arrow. The three become friends quickly and find common Camelot. But before she can become a knight, they must train hard to face different enemies and still be a little more grown up.
