The Lonely Boys is a halbfiktive beat music band. She is the protagonist of the book De Ensamma Pojkarna the Swedish rock and sports journalist Mats Olsson. For a bonus disc with the first 2000 copies of the book the album The Lonely Boys was recorded. On the CD, the fictitious names were in the book, but soon became the identity of the musicians who are members of Gyllene Tider, are known. Later, the album and the single Flowers on the Moon were also published regularly.

The CD is primarily a tribute to the English guitar pop of the mid- 1960s, especially the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The song So Much In Love is a cover song by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who was never recorded by the Rolling Stones themselves.
