The National is a daily newspaper in Papua New Guinea. Founded in 1993, national, English-language The National is owned by the Malaysian logging company Rimbunan Hijau (RH Group). In the first quarter of 2010, the newspaper had a circulation of 37 291 copies sold, more than second daily newspaper of Papua New Guinea, the Post- Courier.
