The Originals

The Originals were a successful R & B and Soul group of the Motown sound, which was founded in 1966 and initially existed until 1982. In addition to Walter Gaines (baritone ) sang initially there Freddie Gorman (bass ), C. P. Spencer and Hank Dixon (both tenor). The vocal group had hits like Baby I'm For Real (1969 ), The Bells ( 1970) and Down to Love Town ( 1976). They also worked as a backing singer for Marvin Gaye, Edwin Starr and Stevie Wonder.
