The Others (Band)

The Others are a British rock band from London.

Career

The band was founded by Dominic Masters, who was asked in a pub, which was mostly attended by musicians, whether he had a band. Dominic replied in the affirmative and was thus equal to his first appearance in that very pub in the bag, even before the band was even founded. After some rehearsals with friends, finally, The Others appeared for the first time.

Awareness finally gained the band by their live performances, particularly by so-called Guerrilla gigs. Venues have included a tree in central London, the zebra crossing in front of Abbey Road Studios and an appearance in the subway.

In addition, the band has maintained a close relationship with their fans, especially to their (main ) Fan Club, the 853 Kamikaze Stage Diving Squad. Many of them have also Dominic Masters private cell phone number and can celebrate at after-show parties with the band.

2005 they released their self-titled debut album The Others. To get from their current record company signed a contract for her second album will be sold in England from their debut at least 40,000 CDs.

A further highlight of the ideas of The Others is the publication of the private number of the singer in the booklet of their single William.

In 2005 they received for their innovative ideas from the NME John Peel Award For Musical Innovation.
