The Red Chord
The Red Chord is an American deathcore band from Revere (Massachusetts), whose band name originates from Alban Berg's opera "Wozzeck".
Biography
Three years after its foundation in 2002, the band released their debut album Fused Together in Revolving Doors which was recorded in the metal underground scene with songs like Nihilist, Sixteen Bit Fingerprint and Dreaming in Dog Years great success.
The second studio album clients ( in German: clients ) was published in May 2005 by Metal Blade Records. On this album, every song describes an individual "clients " of schizophrenia on multiple personality disorder OCD. A re-release of the album was released in mid-2006 with bonus tracks.
The third studio album Prey for Eyes was released in July 2007 via Metal Blade again. A total of 5,000 to 6,000 copies were sold and the album reached # 3 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The singer of Job for a Cowboy, Jonny Davy, looked at the two songs Dread Prevailed and Prey for Eyes and Nate Newton, singer of Converge at Tread on the Necks of Kings with.

"Inspired by events where my brother, who is a prison guard, walks in on inmate to doing something ridiculous in his cell. The prisoner will not talk and gets into this dialogue via a notepad. Music style
The music of The Red Chord includes influences from death metal, grindcore and metalcore. Although the band is marketed as deathcore, it's them according to their own statements regardless of genre in which they are einkategorisiert. " Some call us a grindcore band, the other a death metal band, and still others a hardcore band We are not one of those, we are just damn loud. "
