Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun - Times of 11 March 1994, a film like this is only as good as the representations and the screenplay - in this case were both " clever ". Denis Leary, who sometimes exaggerate as a comedian, creating an entertaining character. Judy Davis and Kevin Spacey would both have natural verbal strengths ( "both naturally verbal" ); they would develop in this film a counterpoint, which WOULD outstanding.
