The Romantics

The Romantics were founded in Detroit by Mike Skill, Wally Palmar, Richie Cole, and Jimmy Marinos 1977. Already at their first gig with Peter Frampton and Steve Miller, the band played in front of 80,000 people.

Band History

In 1978, the first single Little White Lies on the market. After the rock critic Greg Shaw became aware of it, could be published in the same year a single (Tell It to Carrie ).

The debut album The Romantics appeared in 1980. It came as a surprise to No. 61 of the U.S. album charts what the second album, National Breakout ( also 1980) do not even succeeded to some extent.
