The Rural Alberta Advantage

The Rural Alberta Advantage ( The RAA short ) is a Founded in 2005, Canadian indie rock band from Toronto. It consists of three members: Paul Banwatt, Amy Cole and Nils Edenloff.

In 2008 the debut album Hometowns still appeared on a small indie label. Popular was the band when they were compared on the website eMusic in November 2008 for the featured artist of the month and with Neutral Milk Hotel. 2009 Hometowns was re-released on the renowned indie label Saddle Creek.
