The Safety Dance
The Safety Dance is a song by Canadian synth - pop band Men Without Hats, released in 1983. Written and sung was given the title of frontman and co-founder Ivan Doroschuk.
The first publication in the U.S. took place on 16 March 1982. The single reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and # 1 on the Billboard Dance Charts. In Germany, the single made it to second place, it was the only successful song of the group, later albums such as Folk of the 80's (Part III) did not make it into the Billboard Hot 100
