The Shin

The Shin is a Georgian band.

The Shin use mainly the genre of world music and in this area are one of the most famous Georgian bands ever. They describe their style as mixture of jazz, funk, fusion, flamenco, Ravel and Shakti, a Hindu term for the energetic female elemental force of the universe. The band's name comes from the Georgian word shin, which means " come home ".

On February 4, it was announced by the Georgian Broadcasting GPB that the group is represented together with the singer Mariko Ebralidze Georgia the Euro Vision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen. The title of the article is Three Minutes to Earth ( Three minutes to the earth).
