The Sugarman 3

The Sugarman Three Soul is a band founded in 1996 by Neal Sugarman in New York.

The rough, dominated by Hammond organ instrumental sound reminiscent of the Mod culture early sixties.

In 2001, band leader Neal Sugarman along with Gabriel Roth, the label Daptone Records. Daptone operates an analog recording studio in New Brunswick ( New York). The master tape of the label, the Dap - Kings, also participated in the recordings for the album Back to Black singer Amy Winehouse in part.

For the album Pure Cane Sugar was added to the regular cast taken conga, trumpet and vocals.
