The Titan: Story of Michelangelo is an American documentary from 1950 about the life and work of the painter, sculptor, architect and poet Michelangelo.

The Titan is that of Robert Flaherty and Richard Lyford revised, abridged version of the film Michelangelo - The life of the Titans ( 1938) by Curt Oertel.

The life and work of Michelangelo, one of the most important artists of the High Renaissance, is presented by the film actor Fredric March as the narrator in the historical context of the time of Michelangelo. It is started with the early works and presented the late fame of the artist, the film also includes detailed observations on some of the best known works of the artist.

The movie, which the National Board of Review Award in 1950 for best foreign language film was also named at the Oscar ceremony in 1951 with the Oscar for best documentary.
