The Understanding is the second studio album by the Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp and was released on 4 July 2005 by Wall of Sound ( London). The single was released in parallel with Curves The Understanding on the Internet.
As with Melody A.M. the pieces of The Understanding have been used on a broad scale in television advertising and in computer games.
"Circuit Breaker " and "Only This Moment " were used in an episode of the consumer discounts mission of the Danish radio. " Follow My Ruin" was part of the soundtrack for FIFA 06, the 2005 edition of the football computer game from EA Sports. " What Else Is There? " has been used by O2 in a TV commercial in the Czech Republic in 2007 and in Slovakia in 2008. Songs were used in movies Cashback (2006) and Bill (2007). A remixed version of " What Else is There? " could be heard in an episode of the popular HBO television series Entourage.
