The Upsetters

The Upsetters was the studio band for Jamaican reggae producer Lee Perry. The band was active with a rotating cast from 1968 to 1986.

Originally, it was formed from members of the Gladdy 's All- Stars by pianist Gladstone Anderson. With them, Lee Perry produced in 1969 the first successful disc Return of Django / Dollar In The Teeth, the number 5 of the UK Singles Chart landed in the same year and later through the Grand Theft Auto video game series ( GTA: London 1969 and GTA San Andreas ) Popularity learned.
