The W's

The W's is a Christian ska and swing band. The group was founded in September 1997 in the U.S. Corvallis, Oregon, and broke up again in 2000.

Band History

The band followed the success of Christian bands like The OC Supertones and Five Iron Frenzy. Already in its first year ( 1997) they signed a contract with the label Five Minute Walk, where they released their first album in 1998. Her most famous song was The Devil Is Bad.

For a time, the band was very successful and sold more than 200,000 records. With the end of the swing revival of the late 1990s but was also the end of W's. They brought with them Trouble With X a second plate out, the planned third album, however, was never realized.
