The strictest parents in the world is a docu-soap series on German television. The program runs on Sat.1. The first season aired Sundays at 20:15 clock, the series is broadcast on Tuesdays at 20:15 clock since the second season. By the fourth season, the program was broadcast on kabel eins. Since February 3, 2013, the fifth season will air on Sundays at 18.00 clock in Sat.1.
Concept
In the program young people are represented, which are often supplemented noticed in their families and schools by back light and disrespect, excessive alcohol, drug use and violence, usually a boy and a girl per shipment. Other countries
The original concept of the show comes from the British production company Twenty Twenty Television, which originally produced the broadcast for the BBC. Under the name of "The World's Strictest Parents" on the show except BBC also ran in the U.S. on the channel CMT and on Channel Seven in Australia in the two countries precut own versions. The format also works in Denmark ( under the title " Verdens strengeste forældre " ) on the Danish channel TV3 and Poland ( Title: " Surowi Rodzice " ) on the Polish channel TVN.
Criticism
The Hamburg evening paper criticized the show in an article dated March 2, 2009, young people would speculatively presented here as negative examples where specialized education would have been appropriate. The participants were sent unprepared into a disaster.
