The World of David the Gnome

David, who Kabauter, is an animated television series of the Spanish television station BRB Internacional from 1985.

Origin

The series is based on the children's books The Big Book of brownies and The Secret Book of Brownies the Dutch Wil Huygen and Rien Poortvliet and was created by Canadian studio Cinar (now Cookie Jar Entertainment) based on the style of the illustrations of the books titled David el gnomo produced.

Content

Season 1

David is a 400 year old Kabauter (a type of dwarf); he is a doctor and leader of his tribe and experienced adventure together with his wife Lisa and the fox Swift. David represents resulted in 1 before the Kabauter. They grow to 15 cm tall (with the exception of Schneekabauter, which can be up to 19 cm tall ) and weigh 300 g ( Kabauterfrauen 250-275 g). David himself is the son of Tim Uppsala.

The show puts her focus on nature and the environment and provides information on various animal species. Extremely detailed even the treatment methods are shown to help with those David injured animals.

Season 2

In Season 2 David is the Kabauter the doctor by David the Kabauter replaced the judge and his assistant Danny.

A total of 52 episodes were broadcast.

The series was first broadcast on RTL / RTLplus in German-speaking at Li -La- Launebär in 1989.

Others

The name " Kabauter " is often confused with the more famous hobgoblin, but contains no "L". David mentions in a sequence: The Kabauter lives in the forest, while the Klabauter (male) on the lake is at home.
