Theatre Circo

The Theatro Circo, Braga, located on the Avenida da Liberdade and is one of the most important theater in Portugal.

History

The Theatro Circo, was inaugurated on 21 April 1915, the operetta La reginetta delle rose by Ruggero Leoncavallo.

Today, the Theatro Circo serves as spoken theater as well as for performance of operas and symphonies. The interior of the house is home to a historic theater Museum ( Museu do Teatro Circo ) with a picture and document archive.
