Théâtre des Nouveautés

Théâtre des Nouveautà is a theater name that was used for different theater companies in different buildings of the city of Paris. Since 1921, he referred to a smaller theater and operetta theater in the 9th arrondissement at the address 24 boulevard Poissonnière.

First building in the Salle de la Bourse

The first Théâtre des Nouveautà was opened with over 1200 places in the Salle de la Bourse on 10 March 1827 the rue Vivienne. The founder was Cyprien Bérard, who had previously directed the Théâtre du Vaudeville.
