Theodorus Lector

Theodorus Lector (also: Theodoros Anagnostes ) ( † before 550), was a late antique church historian.

Theodorus Lector was, as its name also expresses, Reader at the Hagia Sophia at Constantinople Opel. His written in Greek historia tripartita is a compilation of pieces of Socrates Scholasticus, Sozomen, and Theodoret of. It is, as well as his ecclesiasticae historia in four books, which covers the period 439-527 in itself fuller way, is only fragmentary.
