Thiocarbamate

Thiourethanes is an inexact collective name for several groups of substances in organic chemistry. Specifically, these are the:

  • Thiolourethane, the thiol ester of the unstable Thiolcarbaminsäure ( H2N - COSH )
  • Thionourethane that the Thionester also unstable Thioncarbaminsäure ( H2N - CSOH )
  • Dithiourethane

Synonym for thiourethanes is also used the name thiocarbamates, which still includes, however, the salts of the two thiocarbamic acids.
