Trithiocarbonic acid which is an analog of carbonic acid, in which the three oxygen atoms are substituted with sulfur. It is relatively stable in contrast to thio-and dithiocarbonic. 1928 succeeded Mills and Robinson for the first time the synthesis of the pure substance from ammonium trithiocarbonate and hydrogen sulfide.

Production and representation

Trithiocarbonic acid can be obtained in water by the reaction of Bariumtrithiocarbonat with hydrogen chloride.
