Thom Fitzgerald

Thom Fitzgerald ( born July 8, 1968 in New Rochelle, New York) is an American film director.

Life

Fitzgerald went in Bergenfield, New Jersey to school, where he graduated from Bergenfield High School. Then Fitzgerald studied at the Cooper Union in Manhattan. As an exchange student, he went to Canada at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. He then moved to Halifax, where he finished his studies. After studying Fitzgerald worked with artists Renee Penney and Michael Weir together for several years. Fitzgerald then moved into the film industry and worked as a film director. 1997, his first film Hanging Garden, where were to be seen as an actor among other Troy Veinotte, Chris Leavins and Kerry Fox appeared. The film received a Genie Award. 1999, his second movie was released Beefcake about the fitness industry and the 1950/1960er the first photo magazines (including Bob Mizer ) at the beginning of the U.S. bodybuilding industry. 2001 Halloween horror film Wolf Girl followed for the TV channel USA Network. 2003 and 2005, he turned to the films The Event and 3 Needles two films about HIV / AIDS. Fitzgerald lives in Nova Scotia, Canada.
