Thomas Goller

Thomas Goller (born 28 October 1977 in Dohna ) is a former German track and field athlete. He was Olympian and several times German champion in the 400m hurdles.

Life

Thomas Goller began his sporting career as a swimmer, but switched motivated by his father Stefan Goller, who was himself a pole vaulter with a personal best of 4.00 m, 1988 Athletics.

He started first for the Dresdner SC and coached there under Erika fold, before joining the Athletics Centre Leipzig and from then trained under Volker Beck. Later he moved to LG Asics Pirna. Since 2007 he started for the TV Wattenscheid 01

In 2010, Thomas Goller of doping with anabolic steroids ( boldenone and 5β - androst -1 -en- 17β -ol - 3-one) was transferred and suspended for two years. His club TV Wattenscheid 01 announced the contract with immediate effect and Goller retired from competitive sports.

Thomas Goller is 1,90 m tall and weighed about 82 kg competition times. His best performance over 400 meters hurdles is 48.54 s ( 1999). His trademark was that he always wore sunglasses in the race. He was associated with the German athlete Schielke. The two got in August 2008 their child.
