Thomas Gravesen

Thomas Gravesen ( born March 11, 1976 in Vejle ) is a Danish former football player.

Clubs

Vejle BK

Gravesen was awarded his first professional contract in 1994 with his hometown club Vejle BK, for whom he had played in the youth department.

Hamburger SV

In 1997, the combative defensive midfielder for German club Hamburger SV and quickly became one of the key players of the HSV. During this time he played 74 Bundesliga games and scored six goals. Because of his often humorous nature he received from the fans nicknamed Humörbombe.

Everton FC

After the EM tournament in 2000, he moved to the English Premier League for Everton FC. Here he remained until the winter break of the season 2004/ 05 the best player personality, because although the bald-headed midfielder was never particularly technically gifted, he played through his tireless efforts in the hearts of fans.

Real Madrid

The change in January 2005 to star-studded Real Madrid was quite surprising, since the "workers" Gravesen did not seem quite to fit into a team with stars such as David Beckham, Ronaldo and Luís Figo. National

On 14 February 1995 Gravesen first played for the Danish U-19 national team, as he stood in a 1-0 win over Portugal in the starting lineup and played well over the whole 90 minutes. He made his last international match on 18 October 1995 when he played in the 0-2 against France. In that game Gravesen was exchanged for Kenny Frandsen. Overall, there were three bets.

On January 27, 1996 Gravesen also played for the first time in the jersey of the Danish U- 21st When 2:3 against Chile Gravesen was in the starting XI and was replaced during the game for Jacob Juhl. Gravesen came in qualifying for the U -21 Football Championship in 1998 for use. The qualification, however, was missed. Gravesen since 2009, with the Czech fashion model Kamila Persse (* 1979) lives and romantically involved with this since 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His younger brother Peter ( b. 1979 ) never played football also active, but in the Danish national football team.
