Thomas Gravesen

Thomas Gravesen ( born March 11, 1976 in Vejle ) is a Danish former football player.

Clubs

Vejle BK

Gravesen was awarded his first professional contract in 1994 with his hometown club Vejle BK, for whom he had played in the youth department.

Hamburger SV

In 1997, the combative defensive midfielder for German club Hamburger SV and quickly became one of the key players of the HSV. During this time he played 74 Bundesliga games and scored six goals. Because of his often humorous nature he received from the fans nicknamed Humörbombe.

Everton FC

After the EM tournament in 2000, he moved to the English Premier League for Everton FC.
