Thomas Hayo

Thomas Hayo (* 1969 in Neunkirchen, Saarland ) is a German Creative Director. He is best known as a judge of the talent show Germany's Next Top Model.

In his youth Hayo lived in Bexbach, where he was active in football club and tennis club. His high school, he put 1988 at the Johanneum in Homburg from. After that, he studied visual communication ( graphic design, film and photography) at the College of Design in Darmstadt. After working at the advertising agency Springer & Jacoby in Hamburg Hayo 1993 went to New York City, where he originally wanted to stay only one year. There he first completed an internship at J. Walter Thompson.

In 1999 he joined the agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, where he jointly responsible for the construction of the New York office. He led all responsible key account Levi's and supervised next campaigns of clients such as Reebok, Sony -Ericsson, Axe, Dyson and Johnnie Walker. His work has won several awards, including one from the Art Directors Club, The One Show, D & AD, The International Andy Awards, the Clio Awards and the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, where they received multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions. Some of his works are exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. From 2009 Hayo worked as a freelancer.

According to a proposal by Jean- Remy von Matt Hayo since 2011 alongside Heidi Klum part of the jury of Germany's Next Top Model. In the 6th and 7th Season Thomas Rath completed the jury, who was replaced in season 8 by Mexican photographer Enrique Badulescu. In the ninth season of the German star designer Wolfgang Joop occurs as a jury member in the show.
