Thomas Joseph Costello

Thomas Joseph Costello ( born February 23, 1929 in Camden ) is Emeritus Auxiliary Bishop of Syracuse.

Life

Thomas Joseph Costello received on June 5, 1954, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him auxiliary bishop on January 2, 1978 in Syracuse and Titular Bishop of Perdices. The Bishop of Syracuse Francis James Harrison gave him on 13 March of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were David Frederick Cunningham, Bishop Emeritus of Syracuse, and Francis John Mugavero, Bishop of Brooklyn.

On 23 March 2004 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
