Thomas von Scheele

Thomas von Scheele ( born March 13, 1969 in Bollnäs ) is a Swedish table tennis player.

Career

From Scheele 1991 world champion in the double with Peter Karlsson. In 1996, he won the European Championship with the Swedish team.

Three times he took part in the European Youth Championships, every time he won it with the Swedish team. In 1983 he reached the singles and doubles ( with Mats Andersson ) the final, 1986, he was European Junior Champion in singles.

Thomas von Scheele is left-handed. He played for the Swedish teams IK Comet ( Bollnäs ) Söderhamns UIF and Malmö FF. Due to back problems, he had to stop with the competitive sports.

Today he works for the Swedish Table Tennis Association in the area youth development. He lives in Malmö.
