Three Horses Beer

Three Horses Beer ( better known as THB (French pronunciation ) ) is a lager beer which has been brewed since 1958 by the Star Brewery in Madagascar. It is considered a national beer and is one of two local beers with a nationwide circulation. The second is SKOL, manufactured by Nouvelle Brasserie de Madagascar ( NBM ). The other two Malagasy Queen's beers are hardly and gold spread mediocre.

Besides Madagascar THB is also distributed on Mayotte, Reunion and the Comoros. Meanwhile, there are also importers in Switzerland and France.

It is sold in small 0,33 l and 0,65 l large brown glass bottles throughout Madagascar, in smaller shops. An export version of THB are available in 0.33 liter aluminum cans. In addition to the Pilsener mainly sold with 5.4% alcohol content, there is THB as a " Lite " and " Fresh" with 1% and " Special" with 6.2% alcohol content.

The brewery is sponsoring the Malagasy Football League, the THB Champions League.

The logo shows three horses in line with the beer of the Dutch brewery " Brouwerij Drie Hoefijzers " which was brewed until 1968.
