Throsk

Throsk ( gäl.: Badan Deathach, German " thicket in the Mist" ) is a Scottish settlement in Stirling. The village lies east of Fallin and near the River Forth on the road A905. The 2001 census estimated the population at 231

Throsk is the former stronghold of Bandeath weapons depot of the Royal Navy. The base closed in 1978, now serves as a commercial area and is owned by the local council. Many of the original ammunition bunkers as well as a loading crane remained in Throsk.
