Thrust2

The Thrust2 is a turbine -powered record car by Richard Noble and put on 4 October 1983 by This self-directed a world speed record for land vehicles ( over a mile, average speed 1047.26 km / h ) on. It is the direct predecessor of ThrustSSC. This record was broken in 1997 by Andy Green with the ThrustSSC ( 1227.985 km / h ). The vehicle is now in the Museum of British Road Transport in Coventry.
