Thunder in Paradise (often with the subtitle: Hot cases, cool drinks ) is a television series that was produced by the Baywatch producer Douglas Schwartz and Michael Berk. The series had only one season.

Action

The former Navy SEALs Randolph J. "Hurricane" Spencer and Martin " Bru " Brubaker develop a futuristic speedboat named "Thunder" for the United States Navy. The military, however opts for the competition boat; then they decide to use the boat itself to hunt down criminals and terrorists.

Thunder

Thunder is based on a speedboat. It is bulletproof and has a retractable roof. Inside is a complete command base hides. There is also a jet ski on board. Through an underwater airlock, the crew can sneak up on board. As armament there are two rapid-fire guns and a laser. As defensive measures, there is a shield ( against radar ) and a high-speed mode.

Background

  • The main actor Hulk Hogan is an American professional wrestler. In the series often appear on other Wrestler & Wrestling Manager in guest appearances, such as Sting, Giant González, Tank Abbott, Jim Neidhart and Jimmy Hart.
  • The last episode of Blue Eye is temporally located The unlikely couple in front of the pilot. The whole technique of "Thunder" is still in its infancy and many onboard systems do not always work. Similarly, one can see that the boat itself in the last episode looks different than in the previous one. As a consequence, Ashley Gorrell, who plays the role of Jessica Spencer, Spencer's adopted daughter, is missing. At the end of the episode Jessica shows up though, but played by Robin Weisman, the Jessica also embodied in the pilot.
