Tian Yuan (table tennis)

Tian Yuan ( born January 12, 1975 in Shenyang ( China) ) is a Chinese born Croatian table tennis player. She participated in the 2012 Olympic Games.

Career

Tian Yuan was born in China. Mid-1990s, she was engaged by the German Bundesliga club VfB Lübeck, 2002, she gave a guest performance at the Austrian SV Schwechat.

Since 2007 she plays internationally under the Croatian flag. With the Croatian club Mladost Zagreb HASTK she was active in the 2006/07 season in the European Super League. From 2007 to 2013 they took part in four World Cups, but never came here in the near medal ranks. In 2012 she qualified for participation in the individual competition of the Olympic Games. Here she defeated Berta Rodriguez ( Chile ), but resigned after the defeat of the Hungarian Georgina Póta.

2013, it was Croatian champion.
