Tianjin-Museum

The Tianjin Museum (Chinese天津 博物馆, Pinyin Tianjin bówùguǎn ) is the largest museum in Tianjin, People's Republic of China. It was founded on 20 December 2004 by the amalgamation of the Art Museum Tianjin ( Tianjin Art Museum ) with the Historical Museum ( Historical Museum ). Director Chen Zhuo.

The spectacular new building in the town of Hexi District, with an area of 31,400 m² one of the largest building in the People's Republic of China and should resemble a flying swan. The museum is home to three levels above 150,000 exhibits the culture and history of Tianjin. Among the most famous include the bronze vessel Tai bao ding (太保 鼎) from the time of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
