Tibor P. Nagy

Tibor P. Nagy, Jr. ( born April 29, 1949 in Budapest ) is a retired American diplomat. From 1996 to 2002 he was three years U.S. ambassador to Guinea and Ethiopia.

He is currently Vice - Provost for International Affairs at Texas Tech University, where he had taken his degree in 1972. He then completed a postgraduate course of study of Administrative Sciences (Master of Science in Administration) at the George Washington University and joined the Foreign Service in 1978.

Nagy came in 1957 as a political refugee from Hungary to the United States.
