Tibor Pleiß

Tibor Pleiss ( born November 2, 1989 in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine -Westphalia ) is a German professional basketball player. He participated in the 2010 NBA Draft and was drafted as the 31st overall pick by the New Jersey Nets and traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Pleiß changed in 2009 following the collapse of the Cologne 99ers to the Brose Baskets Bamberg. There he got from the very first season of much playing time and was on average about 20 minutes per game in the basketball league on the field. He also starred in the ULEB Euro League average about 18 minutes per game on the hardwood. He was able to adapt to the rising level in the league and the growing playful claims of Bamberg from 2009 to 2012, claiming his play. During his time at Bamberg, the team won the league title in each season and win the trophy for themselves.

After his two-year contract expired at the end of the season 2011/2012 in Bamberg, Pleiß finally signed in the summer of 2012 a four- year contract with the Spanish side Caja Laboral.
