Beastly Kölsch - stories from the cathedral city Zoo is a zoo docu-soap of the ZDF, which aired from 2006 to 2010 in nine seasons.

In the tradition of the ARD series Elefant, Tiger & Co. animal stories are told from the Cologne Zoo, looked behind the scenes at the zoo, as well as presented employees and familiar animals of the zoo.

In addition, it comes to a reintroduction project of the Cologne Zoo for endangered primate species in a national park in Vietnam.
