Tietê River

The Rio Tietê is a left, 1130 km long tributary of the Paraná in Brazil ( South America).

It rises at Salesópolis in the Serra do Mar, just 22 km from the Atlantic Ocean and flows through the state of São Paulo to the west including inter alia by the large reservoirs Barra Bonita, Promissão and Três Irmãos. Im also big Jupiá Reservoir it flows into the Paraná.
