Tim Krohn

Tim Krohn ( born February 9, 1965 in Wiedenbruck, North Rhine -Westphalia ) is a German writer living in Switzerland. 2009 gave him the city of Zurich Swiss citizenship.

Life

Tim Krohn ( b. 1965 ) has lived in Switzerland since 1966. He grew up in Glarus. From 1984 to 1992 he studied German literature, philosophy and political science and now lives as a freelance writer in Zurich. He is the author of prose, stage and radio plays.

Tim Krohn is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland. From 1998 to 2001 he was president of the predecessor organization, the Swiss women writers and writers' association. He received, among others, the following awards: 1993 UNDA - Radio Award, the 1994 Conrad- Ferdinand -Meyer Prize, 1998 Single -factory price of Swiss Schiller Foundation, 2007, he won with " Vrenelis Gärtli " choosing the best Swiss book and erhelt for the same work rates Anne -Marie Schindler Foundation, the City and Canton of Zurich. In 2011 he received the Culture Prize of the canton of Glarus. He wrote the stage template for the hermit World Theatre 2013.
