Tim Legler

Timothy Eugene " Legs" Legler ( born December 26, 1966 in Washington DC) is an American former basketball player who played between 1990 and 1999 in the U.S. professional league NBA.

Legler attended the Roman Catholic Private University La Salle in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania). There he was " Academic All-American " and wrote with 1699 points scored in four seasons to history. Legler was one of 17 players in the history of the university that achieved no less than 1000 points in her career. In addition, Legler was one of three who were nominated for the " Academic All-American ." As a result, Legler La Salle led to the title of " National Invitation Tournament" in 1987 at Madison Square Garden. Legler played in the U.S. professional league NBA from the beginning of 1990 until the end of 1999. During his NBA career, he played for the Washington Bullets, Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors. In 1996, Legler won the three-point competition of the 45th NBA All- Star Weekend. His career was ended due to a knee injury again.

Legler appear regularly in the programs of ESPN NBA Shootaround, NBA Fastbreak, NBA Coast- to- Coast, and as a consultant for Sports Center and in various shows on ESPN Radio. He works for this channel since 2002.
