Tim Sullivan (director)

Tim Michael Sullivan ( born July 2, 1964 in South Plainfield, United States) is an American screenwriter, film director and film producer.

Life

Tim Sullivan studied film at New York University and after graduating worked as a production assistant on various films. In addition to his own first work, the short film A Christmas Treat ( 1985) he later for New Line Cinema produced among other things, the film Detroit Rock City. His directorial debut was in 2005 with the horror comedy remake of 2001 Maniacs, for which he also wrote the screenplay. With Hood of Horror and Driftwood followed by two more films of the horror genre before he worked on a sequel to 2001 Maniacs, which was shown at the Glasgow Fright Fest 2010 for the first time.

He produced the 2011 Paul Ward horror short film One of the Road, with Reggie Bannister in the lead role. The film bassiert on a short story by Stephen King, and will run in May 2012 at the Cannes Film Festival.

Also in 2011 he was involved as a writer and director at the anthology film Chillerama, have attended by the directors Adam Rifkin, Joe Lynch and Adam Green participated.

Much like Alfred Hitchcock and Tim Sullivan came again and again in his films as an extra on to be usually called without the credits.
