Tim Väyrynen

Tim Väyrynen ( born March 30, 1993, Espoo ) is a Finnish footballer who is since January 2014 with Borussia Dortmund II under contract.

Career

Association

Tim Väyrynen has sprung the youth department of FC Honka Espoo and completed 18 April 2010 in a 3-1 home win over Myllykosken Pallo -47 his debut in the First Division, when he entered the game for Aleksandr Kokko in the 78th minute. In the following season he succeeded on Matchday 4, 15 May 2011, in the 5th minute of the 1-0 winning goal in the game against Rovaniemi PS. By the end of the season he scored six more goals. From then on, Väyrynen was an integral part of the starting eleven and in the 2013 season he achieved his international breakthrough. He has 17 goals scorer in the First Division in 2013. Moreover, he was in the months of June and October, the player of the month, made it in the months of June, September and October in the Topelf the league. In addition, he was voted best striker and best player of the season.

On January 10, 2014, he joined the 3rd Football League to Borussia Dortmund II, where he received a contract until 2016. On February 22, Väyrynen was at the home game against MSV Duisburg when he came on in the 75th minute for Julian Derstroff and struck in stoppage time in a 2-0 final score.

National

Väyrynen played for the Finnish U-19 and for the U-21 national team. In qualifying for the U-19 Football Championship in 2012, he met once each in the games against Croatia ( 2:4 ) and Moldova (4-2 ). Also for the U- 21 team, he participated in two qualifying rounds for a U- 21 European Championship final tournament ( 2013 and 2015). During qualifying on August 14, 2013 against the Welsh U- 21 team he scored in a 5-1 away win three matches.

On October 31, 2013, graduated in a friendly against Mexico ( 2:4 ) be senior international debut.
