Time lock

A time lock, also called Time Lock, is a locking device which is actuated by mechanical or electrical movements. Installation of the time lock is usually on the inside of the vault or the money closet door. The locking of the door, the locking device is effective. You are free to access when reopening only after expiry of the set lock time.

This is intended to serve as a security measure against raids, in which the normally authorized to opening people for wrongful issuance of the key or directly to open the door to be forced. By the time delay, the risk of arrest for the perpetrator increased during an attack.
